Contemporary, fresh and vibrant surface pattern designs..
Ali is a textile designer and author, living and working from her studio, nestled in a tiny corner of the stunning Cheshire countryside. Here she creates surface pattern designs for licensing purposes worldwide and produces a bespoke range of textile and paper products, using her vibrant and unique signature style. With a love for all things textural, Ali incorporates many different mark making techniques into her work and her love for the simple stitch is ever present.
Originally from the north, Ali has always been highly influenced by her worldwide travels, having lived in Australia for ten years and everything that nature has to offer. With this strong love of her natural surroundings and with a retro twist thrown in, Ali’s work offers a bright, fresh and contemporary look.
Ali has worked in the textile and creative industry for over twenty years and has been successfully running her own business for six. Using her experience she has written many articles about working within the design field, helping lots of people over the years to create and run their own design businesses. As well as running a very successful blog, she has also produced a collection of creative business e books and is author of the children’s book “Stitched Paper Art” which is sold worldwide.
A firm believer in supporting British industry, Ali’s collection of exclusive homewares and paper products are all proudly designed and manufactured in the UK, using recycled materials where possible.
